What does Moly do? It also has less tendency to seize as bearings. We also tightened the tolerances and added a much larger support area to the rack gear to aid in strength and to prevent it from being damaged which is why we do not use a sprung tensioner on our rack. We made the whole thing greaseable. We utilize a HUGE 1.2\" Diameter rack gear made of 17-4 Heat Treated Stainless Steel (See the Comparison Pictures). This provides excellent strength and corrosion resistance to the gear. Our Rack gear features the same M16 x1.5mm threads as the OEM rack so you can still use your upgraded tie rods if you already have them.
