GDP Portals Are Built to Be the Best
Ride the way you want with a SuperATV GDP 6” Portal Gear Lift on your Yamaha Wolverine X2 850 or X4 850. Our portals let you customize the way you ride by picking your gear reduction (30%, 45%, or 60%) and your housing material (cast or billet aluminum). With a boost in torque, room for monster tires, and the option for dual idlers, your Wolverine will be a force to be reckoned with on any terrain.

What is a Dual Idler®?
Perfection takes time. After years of research and development, we’ve made our dual idler gear portals unlike any other. By placing a second idler gear in the portal box, the load gets spread over twice as much surface area for more reliable torque transfer and the strongest gear set you can get. Two idler gears don’t do a thing if they’re not mated perfectly, though. Precision CNC grinding ensures ours do. Our gears are made from the industry’s toughest 9310 steel alloy. Didn’t think dual idlers mattered? With GDP’s quality and experience, they finally do

Perfect for Rides of Any Kind
Wherever you go, GDP Portals will make it better. You can’t go mud riding without seeing a portal gear lift or two. That’s because GDP Portals with 45% or 60% gear reduction are perfect for mud. Portals give you enough clearance to run massive mud tires and a gear reduction to turn them. If mud’s not your style, go with a 30% gear reduction for smaller tires and balanced torque for trails.

A Gear Reduction That Protects Your Drivetrain
Portals put the gear reduction directly in the hub. This greatly reduces the amount of stress placed on your axles, differential, prop shaft, and transmission, so they’ll last longer even though you’re riding harder than ever. It’s a win-win situation.

GDP Portals Are Stronger
We’ve been designing and testing portals for years, so we know a thing or two about making them tough. Our portals are built to be the strongest you can get, so you can ride with confidence. Our cast and billet aluminum housings are tough enough to take on hard rides thanks to our careful design that reinforces all the right spots. Combine that with 5/16” backing plates made from an advanced steel alloy, and our portals are unstoppable.
  • Our housings are reinforced for gear retention and optimized for oil flow
  • Advanced steel alloy backing plates are stronger than chromoly
  • Enhance with Portal Blood—gear oil formulated for GDP Portals
  • There are no gimmicks and no vents because vents do more harm than good—we know because we tested them

Advanced Gaskets, Seals, and Bearings
Our portals use:
  • Advanced gaskets and O-rings with excellent oil resistance and low deterioration rates
  • A sealed input gear and double-lipped output seal
  • 100% sealing coverage throughout so you can forget about oil leaks
  • Double-angular contact output bearings to prevent premature wear
  • Roller idler and drive bearings to maintain perfect gear meshing
